PANAJI: The Fact-Finding Committee appointed to investigate the tragic stampede at the Shirgaon Jatra has submitted its report to the state government.
Officials confirmed that the findings are presently under examination.
A formal announcement on the matter will be made by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, following the completion of the government’s review of the report.
The stampede incident, which occurred during the annual religious festival, had raised serious concerns about crowd management and safety protocols.
The government’s response is being closely watched by the public and affected families.
