MARGAO: In continuation to the surveillance drives the FDA officials on 20th Oct 2022 conducted a surprise visit/inspection in the salcete taluka premises of M/s Damodar Sweet Mart situated at Fatorda salcete Goa M/s Vijayalaxmi Sweet Palace situated at Aquem, Margao Salcete Goa, M/s Chandan Sweet Mart Situated at Aquem Margao Salcete Goa, M/s Hanuman Sweet Palace situated at Malbhat Margao Salcete Goa, M/s Rameshwar Sweet Mart situated at Pajifond Margao Salcete Goa, M/s Rameshwar Sweet Manufacturing Unit situated at Malbhat Margao Goa. M/s Bhavani Sweet Mart is situated at Navelim Salcete Goa.
The team confiscated 15 kgs of expired mava worth Rs. 3750/- from the premises of the Rameshwar sweet manufacturing unit operating under unhygienic conditions and without a valid Fssai license.
Notice Under Section 31 of the FSS Act 2006 was issued along with the spot Inspection report. Also, found 12kgs of mava of worth Rs. 3400/- were from the premises of M/s Bhavani sweet Mart, which was also found without proper Fssai labelling.
