PANAJI: Justice V K Jadhav one man Commission of Inquiry today posted the land grabbing matters for arguments on July 11 due.
The matter was to come for final argument from today. But as Special Public Prosecutor Tema Narvekar, has gone on leave due to ill health of husband till July 10, the matter has been posted for her arguments on July 11, stated the commission order.
Incidentally, inquiry hearings kept open on a daily basis till June 27 by the commission for the evidence of accused persons/ complainants/ victims had not evoked much response.
”None present today. It appears that no one is now willing to adduce evidence. Thus the stage of recording of the evidence is hereby closed. Now the inquiry is posted on 28.06.2023 for arguments,” commissions order issued yesterday had stated.
Commission has directed to produce the lot of next five folders, after the first lot of folders is returned back to the SIT in 2 days time.
Incidentally, the commission had issued an order yesterday that hearings in some of the cases will take place on a daily basis till June 27, mainly for submitting the evidence by the accused person, complainant or victims.
