PONDA: Commuters heave sigh of relief as one year later as Finally KTC Bus stand get roof shelter in rain.
It may be recalled that last year government had declared KTC Bus Stand shed unsafe for passengers and barricaded it and had taken repair work by costing Rs 1 Crore.
The work was expected to complete in one year time however there was no sign of it even after one year and as Pondaitees realised that Commuters would force to face another rain in open they decided to protest and stage agitation.
Finally after ten days deadline by locals ,KTC Bus stand roofing that was delayed for one year is completed and thus commuters get shelter in rain at KTC Bus stand shed. They heave a sigh of relief.
Viraj Sapre and Locals thanks media continuous followup and highlighting plight of poor condition of KTC Bus stand and suffering of commuters because of bad condition for year. Recently parking bay with potholed road is also hotmixed by PWD.
