PANAJI: The first General Budget of India’s Amrit Kaal is a public welfare and pro-poor Budget, said BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade.
“On behalf of Bharatiya Janata Party, Goa, I thank and congratulate our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and Union Finance Minister Smt Nirmala Sitharaman ji a Budget which touches the lives of every Indian, which takes care of the welfare of all sections of our society,” he said.
He said this General Budget of the Bharatiya Janata Party government presented under the leadership and guidance of our Narendra Modi ji is the Budget that will promote social justice, and equality and provide equal opportunities to all sections of our society.
“This Budget will make India a “Super Economic Power”. This is a budget with emphasis on the education of children, the earnings of the middle class and the welfare of the elderly,” he said.
He said the Budget had the Government’s vision & mission divided into 7 priority areas:
1. Inclusive development
2. Reaching last mile
3. Infrastructure and investment
4. Unleashing potential
5. Green growth
6. Youth Power
7. Financial Sector It is a Budget that will empower and uplift the lives of villagers, rural folks, Dalits, tribals, farmers, backwards and oppressed classes, differently abled people and those who are economically backward.
“It is a blueprint for India’s rapid growth and development which will ensure holistic progress of the country, particularly rural development, agriculture
development, labourers’ welfare, infrastructure development, digital infrastructure development, and development of Northeast and hilly regions of our country,” he says.
Apart from providing further relief to the taxpayers, Tanavade said, several sectoral budget announcements will benefit Goa tremendously. Be it for infrastructure, agriculture, fisheries, tourism, shipping, start-ups, housing, skill development, or MSMEs, BJP Government in the state will ensure speedy implementation, ensuring the use of these announcements for the people of Goa.
