MARGAO: Fr. Agnelo Youth Club Paroda down Betalbatim Sports Club 2-0 to enter into the quarterfinals of the 15th Davorlim Cup org by Sporting Club Davorlim and played at Davorlim Panchayat ground on Friday.
Both teams played attacking soccer and tried to take the lead but it was Melvin of paroda who shot into the hands of Betalbatim’s goalkeeper in the 15th minute of play while Dixon Rogtanv of Betalbatim failed to connect the ball to tap in the goal in the 34th minutes and both teams remained 0-0 at the half time.
In the second half, Frazer and Ronald missed the scoring opportunities and taking advantage Regan Costa of Paroda scored two quick goals in the 50th and 60th minutes of play to take paroda into the quarterfinals.
