VERNA: Ganja worth Rs.1.1 lakh weighing 1.107kg were seized, and one person was arrested by Verna police.
As per the sources from Verna police, on Monday, Verna police arrested Nayak Sen (37), a native of Kalahandi, Orissa, for possession of 1.107 kilograms Ganja worth Rs.1,10,000.
According to information, Sen was nabbed in an open plot near the Umiya Habitat building, Zuarinagar, in an NDPS raid carried out by PSI Shridhar Kamat. The offence has been registered against the arrested person, and further investigation is being done by PSI Shridhar Kamat.
