PORVORIM: In a shocking incident, a 30-year-old girl was murdered allegedly by her ex-boyfriend and her body was dumped at Amboli ghat.
The victim is identified as Kamakshi, a resident of Porvorim.
According to police, the murder was committed by her ex-boyfriend post refusal of the victim refusing to further continue their relationship.
The accused has been Prakash Chunchwad, a 22-year-old
resident of Porvorim.
Hours prior to her murder, the victim reportedly filed an assault complaint against the suspect at the Mapusa police station. The accused had promised the police in writing that he would stop interfering with her.
