BAMBOLIM: Goa Medical College’s (GMC) Super Speciality Block has discontinued token generation for OPD registration with immediate effect, according to a circular issued by the Administrative Section.
As per the circular dated July 18, 2026, all walk-in patients who have not completed online registration will now be required to report directly to the Offline Counter. Senior citizens and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) will also be guided through the designated offline registration process, as applicable.
The circular further states that patients should be encouraged to book online appointments for OPD consultations henceforth, signalling a shift towards a digital appointment system to streamline patient registration and reduce dependence on physical token generation.
The circular has been issued by Prof. Dr. Yuri Dias Amborcar, Nodal Officer, Super Speciality Block, Goa Medical College, Bambolim.
