PANAJI: The Directorate of Education has announced the winners of the ‘Mhaji Lab, Bari Lab — Goa State Best ICT Laboratory Award Scheme’ for the academic year 2025-26.
In North Goa, Fr. Agnel High School, Pilar, won in Category A, while G. S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir, Mapusa, was declared the Category B winner.
In South Goa, Sarvodaya Education Society’s Higher Secondary School, Barazan, Usgao, Ponda, secured the Category A award, while Holy Rosary Convent High School, Nuvem, Salcete, won in Category B.
In Kushavati district, Government High School, Ambaulim, Quepem, was selected as the Category A winner, while PM SHRI Government High School, Gaval Khol, Canacona, won in Category B.
Under the scheme, three awards of Rs. 2 lakh each are presented under Category A, with one ICT laboratory selected from each district. Category B carries three awards of Rs. 3 lakh each, again with one winning ICT laboratory from each district.
The Directorate of Education congratulated all the winning institutions and appreciated the efforts of school authorities, teaching and non-teaching staff and students in strengthening ICT infrastructure and promoting the effective use of technology in the school environment.
