PANAJI: In view of the recent incident in Nepal, the district administrations of North and South Goa have appealed to members of the public to provide information about any person from Goa who may be missing or whose whereabouts are currently unknown.
Authorities have requested that details including the person’s name, contact number and other relevant information, along with details of family members or contact persons, if available, be shared at the earliest.
In South Goa, the information can be reported at the nearest police station or through the South Goa District Control Room at 0832-2794100, PCR South Goa at 7875756110, or the emergency helpline 112.
In North Goa, members of the public can approach the nearest police station or contact the District Control Room at 0832-2225383, PCR North Goa at 7875756117, or the emergency helpline 112.
The information received by the authorities will be compiled and shared with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to assist in tracing persons concerned and facilitating contact with their families.
The district administrations have urged the public to share any relevant information without delay so that necessary assistance, tracing and coordination can be undertaken.
