PANAJI: Goa has reduced the average emergency ambulance response time from 14 minutes to nine minutes through technology-led dispatch, real-time monitoring and smarter ambulance deployment, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said.
Highlighting the initiative, Rane said every minute matters when a life is at stake and stressed the importance of ensuring timely medical care across the state.
According to the information shared by the Health Minister, the faster response is being supported by technology-enabled ambulance deployment and real-time monitoring, aimed at making emergency services more responsive and accessible to people across Goa.
“Our focus remains clear. Timely medical care for all, wherever and whenever it is needed,” Rane said.
He described the initiative as part of the Goa model of healthcare, with technology being used to strengthen emergency response while keeping patient care at the centre.
