PANAJI: Goa-based embryologist Dr Shravani Parker has been honoured with the Embryology Excellence – Young Achiever Award at the ISAR ART Excellence Awards 2026, held in Udaipur on Saturday.
The award, presented by the Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction (ISAR), recognises Dr Parker’s contributions to clinical embryology as well as her work in education, research and assisted reproductive technology.
Dr Parker, who specialises in Clinical Embryology and Reproductive Sciences, has been associated with IVF and assisted reproduction, with her work spanning laboratory practices, academic training and research.
A significant part of her contribution has been the establishment of the Embryology Training and Research Centre at Old Goa, co-founded through Kasturi Repro Assist Concepts. The centre has so far trained and provided learning exposure to more than 2,000 students and learners.
Its programmes offer practical and theoretical exposure to procedures and techniques used in assisted reproduction, including IVF, ICSI, embryo culture, cryopreservation and micromanipulation.
Dr Parker has also worked towards strengthening awareness and academic engagement in reproductive technologies in Goa. Kasturi Repro Assist Concepts has collaborated with educational institutions and colleges to encourage learning and training in embryology and reproductive sciences.
The initiative has also supported research publications, academic collaborations and scientific writing in the areas of IVF and assisted reproductive technology.
The ISAR award adds to Dr Parker’s work in developing embryology education and professional training opportunities in Goa.
