Panaji: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Monday chaired a high-level meeting with secretaries and officers from various departments at Mantralaya to review preparations for the upcoming International Yoga Day.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed officials to conduct online training programs to promote yoga across the state. He further instructed that every school in Goa should dedicate at least half an hour daily for the practice and promotion of yoga.
Goa has set an ambitious target of organizing Yoga Day practice sessions at 30,000 locations across the state.
Dr. Sawant emphasized the need for timely completion of all preparatory tasks and urged officials to ensure enthusiastic participation. He stated that the state would celebrate International Yoga Day with great zeal, reinforcing the importance of a healthy lifestyle for a better future.
