PANAJI: The Government of Goa has extended the deadline for public participation in its “Viksit Goa @2047” vision document initiative, inviting citizens to share their suggestions, views, and opinions aimed at shaping Goa’s future development.
The deadline for submissions has now been extended to June 30, 2025.
The initiative is part of the state’s broader strategy to transform Goa into a developed state by 2047.
The document will address various sectors and is intended to guide the government in designing effective policies, programs, and initiatives.
On April 9, 2025, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant launched a QR code at the Mantralaya in Porvorim, facilitating easy access for citizens to submit their feedback online.
He appealed to the public to actively participate and contribute ideas on how Goa can evolve across all sectors by 2047.
The inputs received are expected to play a critical role in strategizing Goa’s long-term developmental roadmap.
The Directorate of Planning, Statistics & Evaluation is overseeing the preparation of the document and has emphasized the importance of citizen involvement in shaping a visionary and inclusive future for the state.
Citizens can submit their suggestions through the official portal at https://goaonline.gov.in.
