PANAJI: The Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress announced the appointment of two new District Presidents for North and South Goa.
The appointments have been formally approved by Smt. Alka Lamba, President of the All India Mahila Congress.
Mollie Da Gama Silva has been named the District President for North Goa, while Mamata Maben has been appointed as the District President for South Goa.
Goa Mahila Congress President Dr. Pratiksha N. Khalap congratulated the new appointees and expressed confidence in their ability to bolster the party’s grassroots presence.
“These appointments reflect our continued efforts to empower women leaders across the state and ensure greater representation in political and social spheres,” Dr. Khalap said in a statement.
The party stated that the appointments are aimed at creating a more dynamic and inclusive organizational structure to strengthen women’s political participation in Goa.
