PANAJI: The Goa Medical College and Hospital, in collaboration with the Spine Foundation team from Mumbai, successfully organized a Spine Scoliotic Deformity Correction Camp today for the benefit of deserving patients from Goa.
During the camp, two patients with scoliosis and one with a kyphotic spine deformity underwent surgery, prof Dr S M Bandekar, Dean inaugurated the workshop along with Dr Abhay Nene.
In addition to the surgeries, patients from various parts of the state received consultations from the expert team of doctors. Patients who had undergone surgeries during the previous camp also attended follow-up appointments, expressing satisfaction with their improved functionality in daily routines and strenuous activities post-correction.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr Abhay Nene, Dr. Priyank Patel, Dr. Premik Nagad, and their team for travelling to Goa and sharing their expertise. Special thanks to the Dean of GMC, HOD Orthopedics, Professor Dr. S.M.m Bandekar, and Associate Professor Dr. Gauresh Vargaonkar for their efforts in organizing this successful workshop for the benefit of our patient
