PANAJI: Panaji Police have registered a theft case after a scooter was reported stolen from an open parking area near Vainguinim Beach, Dona Paula, in Tiswadi taluka.
According to the complaint lodged by Mr. Sahil (22), son of Ismail Murtuja, resident of Posrem Bhat, Taleigao-Caranzalem, the incident occurred on 23 May 2026 between 3:00 pm and 3:15 pm near the Blinkit store parking area at Vainguinim Beach. The complainant stated that unknown persons allegedly stole his metallic grey Honda Activa scooter bearing registration number GA-07-AR-2310, valued at approximately ₹90,000.
Based on the complaint received on 1 June 2026 at 12:20 hrs, Panaji Police, after informing senior officers and acting on their directions, registered an offence in the matter.
Further investigation is being carried out by HC 5066 Chandrakant Ghadi of Panaji Police Station.
