The farewell function for the teams was organized on 19th January 2024, at the Sports Section, Goa University, in the presence of Mr. Balachandra Jadar, Asst. Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University, Dr. Shailendra Gaonkar, Assistant Sports Officer, Goa University along with Mr. Andrew Gomes, Team Coach cum Manager
The following players who have qualified during the South West Zone Inter University Weightlifting Men Championship 2023-24 will represent Goa University at the All India Inter University Weightlifting Men Championship 2023-24:
Gorakshnath Waifalkar, Creason Gonsalves, and Abhishek Parab.

Goa University has selected the Women Kabaddi team for the West Zone Inter University Kho-Kho Women Championship 2023-24, which is scheduled from 24th -27th January 2024 at Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa
