PANJIM: After being the first State to be declared as “green zone”, Goa today has over 30,500 Covid-19 cases.
On Thursday, State recorded 673 new patients this taking the confirmed cases count to 30,552, of which 5,822 are active patients.
Today, another seven patients succumbed to the infection while 490 were declared recovered.
Four deaths were reported in Goa Medical College and Hospital, two in ESI-Margao and one at Asilo hospital, Mapusa. All succumbed due to co-morbid condition.
As per mortality bulletin issued by DHS, a 40-year-old woman from Curtorim, 53 year-old man from Vasco, 57 year-old woman from Taleigao, 79 year-old man from Vasco, 76-old man from Karapur, Tisk, 70-old man from Fatorda and 83-old man from Siolim succumbed to Covid.
