PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant joined the signing of an agreement between the Government of Goa and NSDC International Ltd. to establish the NSDC International Skill Center in Goa.
CM said that this state-of-the-art facility will create a world-class skill development ecosystem, equipping Goan youth with the essential skills and competencies, including foreign languages and specialized domain skills, to thrive on the global stage.
He added that this centre will also open up international job opportunities in sectors such as Hospitality, Healthcare, Beauty & Wellness, IT, Construction, etc. and that under this partnership, a minimum of 5,000 Goan youth will receive training annually, specifically geared towards overseas employment.
CM expressed certainty that this cutting-edge Skill Center will empower the youth of Goa with the tools they need to excel globally, paving the way for remarkable job opportunities.
