PANAJI: The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) has dissolved eight Block Congress Committees with immediate effect, according to a notice issued by GPCC President Girish R. Chodankar on September 20.
The dissolved Block Congress Committees are Valpoi, Pernem, Ponda, Fatorda, Shiroda, St. Cruz, Mapusa and Curchorem.
The GPCC said the dissolved block committees will be reconstituted shortly.
