PANAJI: In view of the high wave warning issued by incois for Goa Coast, the Captain of Ports has instructed all cruise, feeder and pleasure vessels to stop operations with immediate effect till further notice.
In view of this all shipping Agents, owners and operators of cargo vessels, barges and passenger vessels, Gaming vessels and Cruise operators to take all necessary actions for safety of their vessels and crew.
All Masters of vessels in port are directed to ensure that the vessels at berth are secured with adequate number of mooring lines and vessels at anchor to have adequate length of anchor chain in the water as per requirement.
All vessels in port to have their engines in readiness at all times and take necessary precautions according to prevalent shipping and port Acts and according to their SOP in these circumstances.
All vessels at outer anchorage to monitor the weather.
Masters of all vessels in Panaji Port to ensure designated crew is present on board at all times as per safe manning certificate and extra staff as per your needs.
