PANAJI: IEI Goa State Centre recently organized an Energy Conservation Day, focusing on promoting sustainable practices in Goa. The Chief Electrical Engineer of the Government of Goa emphasized the significance of energy conservation for the environment and economy.
The event featured guest speaker Agnelo Gomes, along with Chairman Anwar Khan and Honorary Secretary Siddhant Dubhashi from the Institution of Engineers (India) Goa State Centre, highlighting the collective efforts needed for energy conservation.
The coordination of the Energy Conservation Day event was skillfully handled by Austin Rodrigues and Shashank Shirvoikar. Activities included presentations, interactive sessions, and discussions, allowing attendees to share experiences and ideas on energy conservation practices. The Institution of Engineers (India) Goa State Centre plays a crucial role in promoting sustainability, and their events contribute significantly to raising awareness and fostering a culture of energy efficiency in the state. The Chairman of IEI- GSC assured full support from IEI in promoting awareness about energy conservation.
