CANACONA: Jai Bhandari Canacona in association with Janasena Canacona organized a Felicitation Function of meritorious students of SSC, HSSC, Degree & Post Degrees of Bhandari Community, recently in Shristhal, Canacona.
The idea behind organizing this Felicitation Program for the first time in Canacona was to recognize the achievement of meritorious students of Bhandari Community of Canacona taluka expecting to inspires other students/youths of Bhandari Samaj of Canacona to strive hard to achieve such success.
Meritorious students felicitated during the function were 10th Pass (SSC): Sarvesh Ravindra Naik, Sakshi Nilesh Naik, Udita Ulhas Naik, Avni Premanand Pednekar, Prasiddhi Deepak Bhandari, Pratha Anil Naik, Raj Ulhas Naik, Manjit Ramchandra Bhandari, Saidnya Gopalkrishna Bhandari, Supray Sushant Naik, Nishika Nandkishore Naik, Varad Damodar Borkar

The Felicitation Function was attended Rajesh Naik (Member of V.P. Loliem-Polem), Sachin Naik (Ex Sarpanch & present member of V.P. Loliem-Polem), Canacona Taluka President of Bhandari Samaj) Pravir Bhandari (also Member of V.P. Poinguinim), Ramu Naik (Member V.P. Shristhal), Babesh Borkar (President-Canacona Journalist Association), Sudesh Naik (Headmaster of Sadolxem Govt. High School), Naresh Naik (Lecturer of Goa University) and Venkatarai Naik as Guests of the Function.
Janardan Bhandari ( Chief Of Janasena), Sanju Naik (Former president of the Bhandari Samaj), Tulshidas Naik (Ex Sarpanch), Dr. Siddhesh Chendekar (leader of Bhandari Samaj from Karwar Taluka) was present as Guest of Honours for the said Felicitation Program.
Sachin Naik welcomed the Guests and members of Bhandari Samaj presented for the Felicitation Program.
At the beginning promising child artists from Bhandari Samaj, Canacona performed cultural program and Yashwant Naik introduced and compered the program, and Nitesh Naik concluded the felicitation ceremony by proposing a vote of thanks.
