PANAJI: Konkan Railway organized a Safety Seminar at its Corporate Office in Belapur, presided over by Shri Santosh Kumar Jha, Chairman and Managing Director. The seminar aimed to reinforce safety practices and raise awareness among employees about the importance of vigilance, timely reporting, and strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure smooth and secure train operations.
As part of a newly launched initiative to honor frontline staff, 12 employees were recognized for their exceptional alertness in identifying and reporting safety-related incidents during their duties. Each awardee received a certificate and an on-the-spot cash reward as a token of appreciation for their commitment to safety.
This seminar marked the first in a series of 12 such events planned across the Konkan Railway network, with four each scheduled to take place in Belapur, Ratnagiri, and Karwar. The initiative underscores Konkan Railway’s ongoing efforts to build a strong safety culture throughout its operations.
