CANACONA: On the sidelines of his visit ot handover ‘Shram-Dham House-Keys to beneficiaries, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla visited a Ashram School, where Balram Education Society (BES) is running a Residential High School at Amone-Poinguinim.
On seeing the large number of young school students lined up and cheeing his entry in the Ashram School Complex, a visibly moved Speaker Om Birla got down from specially set-up stage cutting short the photo session, and walked towards the children. Tawadkar soon followed behind.
On reaching the children Birla mingled amongst the students, joined hands to say Namaste and also began to Shook hands with some and began to ask their names, how are their studies, and what they feels to study in a such a great school complex, what are their ambitions to achieve in thier life and whether they are enjoying their stay in that residential school.’
Later, during the keys handing over function, Birla making a reference to his visit to Ashram School at Amone, said, he is really impressed at the huge school complex in a remote area. ‘Tawadkarji has built such a huge magnitude residential school complex in a village which is not there even in many of cities’.
‘I spoke to the students there , and I realised, its not only education and Cultured (Sanskari), they are also learning to achieve the dreams of their lives by studying in that school.’
Birla also congratulated chief minister for the works being undertaken to provide good educations and building the best of infrastructure.
