VASCO: Vasco Railway Police have registered an Unnatural Death case following the discovery of a deceased male at Sanvordem Railway Station. The body was found at around 11:30 a.m. on Platform No. 2.
The deceased has been identified as Babujan Mohidinsab Mulla, a 52-year-old mason from Naginmatti village, Haveri district, Karnataka. The body was identified by his nephew.
According to the police, the deceased was a chronic alcoholic and is believed to have died due to an illness, with no foul play suspected. The body has been preserved at SGDH Hospital Morgue in Margao for further medico-legal formalities.
The investigation is being conducted by Police Inspector Amarnath P. Passi of Vasco Railway Police Station. Further details will be available pending the completion of the formalities.
