Navelim: Host team Mandopa Sporting Club cruised into the semifinals of the 1st Late Antonio Colaco Memorial Football Tournament with a commanding 3-0 victory over USC Seraulim at the Rosary Church Ground, Navelim.
Mandopa took an early lead in the 14th minute when Noah Luis opened the scoring with a well-placed finish. The home side doubled their advantage in the 32nd minute through Antonio D’Silva, who latched onto a perfectly timed through ball from Ronaldo and chipped it over the advancing Seraulim goalkeeper.
Noah Luis sealed the win and completed his brace in the 48th minute, slotting in Mandopa’s third goal. USC Seraulim made several attempts to stage a comeback, but their forwards were denied either by the Mandopa defense or wayward finishing.
For his outstanding performance, Noah Luis was named Man of the Match, with the award presented by Damaciano, a club member.
