Panaji: In a move to enhance accessibility and improve passenger convenience, Manohar International Airport (GOX) has launched its new e-Wheelchair service, catering specifically to travelers requiring mobility support.
Operated by Aroon Aviation Services Private Limited, a trusted provider in airport assistance solutions, this service is designed to offer a smoother, more comfortable transit experience while also easing the workload on airport staff. The battery-powered e-Wheelchairs allow passengers to be efficiently escorted to the boarding gates or handed over to the concerned airline for further assistance.
The service is available at a nominal charge of ₹800 (inclusive of GST) and can be booked directly at the airport. It ensures a seamless and dignified journey for those needing extra mobility assistance, including elderly travelers, people with temporary or permanent disabilities, or anyone with limited mobility.
This initiative reinforces GOX Airport’s commitment to creating an inclusive and passenger-friendly environment, aligning with global standards for accessible infrastructure and services.
For more details or to avail the e-Wheelchair service, passengers can approach the service desk at MOPA Airport (GOX).
