MAPUSA: Mapusa Police today has arrested an interstate gang for duping older adults with cash worth thousands of rupees on the pretext of help.
According to police, a gang of four people has been arrested on theft charges.
According to information, the gang was stealing money by obtaining their ATM and PIN numbers in the name of helping them to withdraw money.
The arrested of the accused was done team led by Superintendent of Police Shobit Saxena, Deputy Superintendent Jivba Dalvi, and Inspector Paresh Naik.
Police said that they are in the process of investigation, and more details will be given in due time.
