In the pandemic times, wherein the people are finding it tough to survive, a Margao based private school has removed students from online classes groups for non-payment of fees.
This is despite the fact that the government issuing a stern warning that then no fees be demanded for online classes.
Parents taking to social media said that many have been suffering financial trauma due to ongoing pandemic situation.
“School is charging developmental fees as part of total fees. which is for construction of their new building structure, development fees turns to be 15% of total annual fee,” they said.
They said the parents only demand has been to remove the developmental and activity fee at this current times, which they have paid all these years without complain.
“Now due to financial crisis they have been pleading to reduce fees and not charge development and activity fees, but school haven’t budged, infact have now suspended online classes… Students are suffering, Parents are in critical situation due to schools relentless pressure on fee payment,” they said.
