PONDA: A complaint has been lodged at Ponda Police Station after a minor boy was allegedly assaulted while walking at Bandodkar Ground, Bandora.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 8.30 pm on September 30 when the accused, identified as Mahesh Naik, a resident of Ambegal, Ponda, stopped the complainant’s minor son on the walking track.
The accused allegedly punched the boy on his chest and head. Police further said that at the time of the assault, Naik was holding a key in his hand, which caused a scratch injury on the boy’s head.
The minor sustained a simple injury to his head. Further investigation is being carried out by LPSI Anajli Dhulapkar of Ponda Police Station.
