Sattari: Tensions flared late on Diwali eve in Sattari after a noise complaint regarding loud music during Narkasur celebrations at the Honda police outpost escalated into violence.
Reports indicate that a mob of approximately 300–400 people retaliated against the complainant, going as far as setting their car on fire. Authorities are investigating the incident and reviewing CCTV footage to identify the individuals involved.
The episode has raised serious concerns about public safety during festive events and underscores the challenges faced by law enforcement in managing large crowds during cultural celebrations.
