MORMUGAO: The Mormugao Shipping Agents Association (MSAA) has announced its new office bearers and executive committee members for a three-year term from 2026 to 2029 following its annual general meeting.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, Raghoba Kotkar, Vice President of Delta Ports, said the outgoing committee was dissolved during the annual general meeting held on June 9, following which members unanimously selected a new team to lead the association until March 31, 2029.
Gajanan Pandurang Naik of Sai Shipping & Co. has been elected President, while Snehendu Shekhar of J M Baxi & Co. will serve as Vice President. Pramod Tawde of Tawde & Sons Shipping Services has been appointed Secretary and Keshav Krishna Shetye of James Mackintosh & Co. will serve as Treasurer.
The other office bearers include B. S. Kumaran of Merchant Shipping Pvt. Ltd. as Joint Secretary and Rohan Sakhalkar of Inchcape Shipping Services Pvt. Ltd. as Joint Treasurer.
D. S. Thakkar of Hiralal & Co. and Vinod Parkot of Agencia Commercial Maritima have been named Senior Advisors. Thakkar has also been nominated to represent the association before MANSA and FEDSAI.
The executive committee comprises Jairam Naik of Atlantic Global Shipping, Manoj Mayekar of Inter Ocean Shipping, Kaustubh Kamat of Keshav Narayana Kamat & Co., Sachin Shirodkar of Chowgule & Company, J. Glorio of Joanes & Co., and Nilesh Navelkar of Barbados Maritime.
The association congratulated the newly elected team and expressed confidence that the committee would work towards the growth of the shipping industry, stronger stakeholder engagement, and the promotion of the maritime sector at Mormugao Port.
