PANAJI: With Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to visit Goa on February 6, the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) today has extended the Assembly session by 1 day till February 10.
As per the information, the business that was to be conducted in February has now been shifted to February 10.
Sawant on Wednesday had hinted that the schedule of the six-day budget session of the Goa legislative assembly may be altered due to the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Sawant had said, whether or not to tweak the schedule of the assembly session will be discussed in the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting.
The Budget session of the Goa Assembly will begin on February 2.
Goa Governor P.S. Sreedharan Pillai had announced that a six-day session of the Legislative Assembly will commence on February 2.
