Panaji: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Monday said that there would be no affect in the State on the Bharat bandh called by the Farners across the country.
“Everything would be normal in the State. There would be no impact of Bharat bandh here,” CM told reporters.
Sawant said that he did not understand why the farmers were agitating as the three laws are beneficial to them.
“The three agricultural laws have been brought keeping in view the farmers. There would be no middlemen in the sale of their produce. Entire benefit will go to them,” he said.
The Congress and the others trade unions have extended their support to teh bandh call on December 8.
