Two major political aspects surfaced during the Thursday of the BJP State president Sadanand Shet Tanawade tour of Mormugao Taluka.
While BJP President Sadanand Shet Tanavade said that he was in the constituency only to review the organisation.
However, when questioned, Tanavade said that he did not want to take the controversy of Jose Philip D’ Souza further but maintained that D’Souza should not have opposed hoisting the national flag.
Tanavade said that Jose Philip Dsouza need not worry about him contesting elections on BJP ticket.
Urban development minister Milind Naik speaking on Blue flag certification for Baina Beach, said that he had not proposed the project and had neither studied the project.
Naik said that Carlos Almeida had got the project and he should take the people and also the opposition in confidence on the project
