PANAJI: North Goa ZP Chairman Siddesh Naik today said that the North Goa District Panchayat Plan has been approved and will be launched on April 25.
North Goa ZP today held a meeting to approve the plan in presence of all North Goa District ZP’s
“Today the plan was approved and will be launched on April 25 on the occasion of Panchayati Raj day. The plan will be launched by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Panchayat Min,” said Naik
He further said that ZP members have submitted their developmental plans. Naik said that we have to put an end to garbage menace in villages.
“CCTV cameras will be installed on dark spots and the control will be given to the respective panchayats,” he added
Naik also said that various awareness camps will be held across North Goa in various villages.
“Last time we had received Rs 8 crore funding from the government, this time will get Rs 12.5 crore funding from the state government,” he added
North ZP Chairperson said that entire amount of Rs 8 crore had been utilised.
