CALANGUTE: A 39-year-old tourist from Odisha, Tajinder Singh, died after swimming in a hotel pool in Calangute on Thursday afternoon.
Singh, who was in Goa on holiday with his family, began vomiting shortly after entering the pool. He was quickly pulled out of the water by his family and others, and rushed to Goa Medical College (GMC) for medical attention. However, he passed away later that evening.
Upon receiving news of the incident, Calangute police arrived at the hotel and conducted an inquest. After an autopsy, Singh’s body was handed over to his family on Friday morning.
