PANAJI/ VASCO: Post COVID19 pandemic, the first Board exams began in Goa today with the Standard XIIth students answering their first Paper.
Unlike the past two years, the exams, though delayed a bit, seemed to be smooth. There were no strict measures for preventing COVID. Normal procedures of masks, social distancing and sanitisers were used.
Students answering 12 th standard final exams seemed excited to answer offline mode examination in their higher secondary schools.
Some parents who had come to drop their children off and wish them luck on their final examination said that their children faced issues in consulting and taking guidance from the teachers online. But recently, after the offline classes started, it helped many students take guidance and solve their queries by meeting their subject teachers personally.
One more parent said that his son has studied hard, and he expects to come in distinction for 12 tzhe standard final exams.
When contacted some students who were about to appear for their first exam paper for the final 12th standard examination, students said that they encountered several study-related queries and problems during online classes, but since the offline classes got started, all those queries were solved.
Another student said she expected to score excellent marks for the final exams. She said she is excited to appear for the final exam after a year’s gap.
When questioned about the examination, students informed that the exam has started on April 5 and will go until April 16. The Paper will start at 11 am and will finish by 12.30pm.
