PANAJI: Finally after a month’s time PANAJI Municipal Market has finally opened its door for public. The market was sealed due to rising cases of COVID-19.
As per information only 50 people at a time are being allowed to shop in the market premises.
“As of now only fruit, vegetables and coconut vendors and general stores have been given permission to operate and only 50 people are allowed to enter premises at a given time,” said CCP Mayor Rohit Monserrate
He further said that all health protocols will be followed that is social distancing and wearing of masks and sanitization.
The Corporation of the City of Panaji has said that it’s inspectors are keeping a constant vigil so that all health protocols are being followed.
“We have CCP inspectors and the police supervising the situation,” the mayor said
