Panaji: Laxmikant Parsekar on Wednesday said he remains actively engaged in social work and continues to maintain close contact with people across communities, despite not holding active political office.
He said individuals still approach him for guidance and assistance on a range of personal and public matters, indicating sustained public trust and engagement.
Parsekar noted that he does not favour comparisons between political parties or involvement in rivalry, stressing that his focus is on service-oriented work rather than political competition.
