SANGUEM: Informative postal of Goa state legal services authority was inaugurated at Post Office in Sanguem.
While speaking on occasion as a chief guest, Apurva R Nagvenkar secretary, District legal Services authority South Goa and a senior civil judge said it is service provide the section of the society as entitled under section 12 of the legal services which to provide free legal assistance to those whose income 3 lakh per year.
Further, (a) a member of a scheduled caste or scheduled tribe.(b) A victim of trafficking in human beings or beggars as referred to in article 23 of the constitution. (c)A women or child (d) A person with a disability as defined in cl(i)of sec 2 of the person with a disability.
She also said that the inauguration of informative postal of goa state legal services authority in respect of free legal services to ordinary people at post offices would help commoners to solve their legal issues.
On this occasion, the Nagvenkar, Sanguem taluka civil judge junior division (Sanguem), Sunita A. Gaunekar, Inspector of Sanguem Post Pramod Madare, and Parra legal volunteer Madhuri Rao and legal advisor and postal staff of Sanguem Post were present.
Sunita A.Gaunekar said that it had already started in the Salcete area,it will help the people to solve the issue without entering the court with the help of legal support provided by the state legal services authority, she said. On this occasion vote of thanks was given by parra legal volunteer Madhuri Rao.
