Vasco: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing a public meeting at Vasco town in South Goa on April 27 to campaign for upcoming Lok Sabha election, a senior party functionary said.
BJP Goa General Secretary Damu Naik on Monday told reporters in Vasco that the Prime minister would be addressing a public meeting on April 27 at Vasco.
He said that the preparations for the public meeting are going on in full swing.
This would be the second public meeting of PM Modi in Goa during this year. The first meeting was held on February 6 at Margao town in South Goa.
Naik said that huge crowd would be attending the meeting of the PM at Vasco. “We are winning both the Parliamentary seats of Goa. People are eager to hear the speech of PM Modi,” he added.
BJP has fielded business woman Pallavi Dempo as its candidate from South Goa while union minister Shripad Naik is contesting from North Goa on the party ticket.
