The 22-year-old owner of a garage in Porovirm, Prakash Chunchwad, was charged with killing his fiancée Kamakshi Udapnov, who was residing in a rental apartment in Porvorim, and disposing of her body at Amboli Ghat.
On August 30, Prakash is said to have killed Kamkshi at night in her rented apartment in Porvorim and dumped her body in his own car at Amboli Ghat.
Following the investigation and the apprehension of Prakash Chunchwad, police set out for Amboli on September 1st, accompanied by a forensic team, where they retrieved Kamakshi’s body.
Since Kamakshi had severed her relationship with Prakash Chunchwad, the police said, he had admitted to committing murder.
