SANGUEM: Director General of Police Jaspal Singh revealed that the Samadhan scheme was brought so that patient hearing of various issues could be heard.
During a Vanamahotsav event at Sanguem, DG Singh said, “There have been cases of illegal land grabbing in many places in the state, and the police have so far registered cases against 38 people after receiving complaints from many people,” Singh said.
He said that the police department has started a solution scheme to listen to the problems of the common people.
“Trees are planted every year on the occasion of the forest festival, and it maintains the balance of the environment. Due to climate change, planting trees has become very important, and everyone should take care not to degrade the environment,” Singh said.
About two hundred saplings were planted at this time.
During this, van Mahotsav, along with DG Jaspal Singh, IGP Goa Omvir Singh Bishnoi, COMMDT IRBn Goa, Bosco George, SP South Goa Abhishek Dhaniya were present on occasion.
