PANAJI: Porvorim Police have arrested 3 persons connected to an attempt to murder case.
According to the police, the accused have been identified as Vijay Khanna (66), Leela Khanna (60) and Anu Raul (36).
Police informed that a complaint in the matter was filed by Meera Nimlekar (60) from Verem.
After the complaint, the police said the accused, with their common intention, abused the complainant and her son Shanu with bad words and further assaulted them with a danda and an iron road, thereby causing serious injuries to Shanu and minor injuries to the complainant.
The police said an argument over some issue is cause for assault.
