PONDA: Heavy rain since morning caused waterlogging at Ponda with most of shops were flooded with water. It caused traffic chaos, and panic among Shopowners.
According to Nishant Khasnis his house was flooded as nullah wall Collapsed and water entered into his house. Goods in sho started floating in water.
The debris , garbage choked nullah at Police Station following water flooded through police stations and shops. The vendors , Shopowners were suffered losses due to flood water entry in shops.
The locals blamed PMC for not desilting nullah and clearing garbage.
Week ago gutted was choked and vendors could not conduct business at old bus stand. Same area was flooded today at its opposite side today. Locals said it exposed PMC preparedness for rain.
