PANAJI: Raj Bhavan, in association with Street Providence, an NGO providing food to the homeless persons at 6 Centers being run by the Institution under “Food Bank for the Poor†will be providing fresh food for 100 persons once a week, which will be distributed by Street Providence to the homeless poor.
Governor, Shri P.S. Sreedharan Pillai will launch the program on March 17, 2022, at noon. Governor will hand over the first packet of food to Shri Donald Fernandes, founder of Street Providence for 100 homeless persons, as informed by the Department of Information and Publicity.
